Join us on Sunday 3rd December, registration from 10:30am, fun run begins 12 noon

We’re excited to launch our first ever Mental Elf 5km event! This is a fun, festive event which focuses on bringing people together, not only to fundraise, but to raise awareness of mental health and wellbeing. It promotes the benefits of physical activity, connecting with people and doing something to help others. We want everyone to have lots of festive fun whilst raising funds so we can support the people in Birmingham and the wider communities with their mental health.

Take part in our 5km family fun run at Cannon Hill Park

You can choose to walk, jog, skip or run the 5km park run route. The event is open to all ages and abilities, children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Discounts are available for family and group/corporate teams. Elf fancy dress is very much encouraged!

Corporate Opportunities

Supporting people’s mental health has never been more important than it is right now. Your colleagues, customers, suppliers and the communities you want to reach all have mental health. There’s no better time to show your company’s commitment to improving mental health for everyone.

Partnering with us for Mental Elf 2023 would be an excellent opportunity to raise your business profile whilst supporting Birmingham Mind’s vital work. We have a number of sponsorship opportunities and ways you could support us.

The location

The Mental Elf fun run will take place in Cannon Hill Park, starting and finishing near the band stand. There is a large car park available at the MAC as well as Russell Road. Parking charges start from £2.20.

There are toilets available at The MAC.

Fundraising

Whilst fundraising isn’t compulsory for this event, we would encourage each person taking part to reach a target of £20. The more money you raise, the more people Birmingham Mind can help.  So, if you wish to ask family, friends or colleagues for sponsorship, you can set up your Just Giving Page.

Volunteering

We would not be able to make Mental Elf a success without the support of amazing vol-elf-teers. We have various roles available, please see here for more information.
