After 30 remarkable years of service, Mark Shakespeare is stepping down from his role as Trustee with Birmingham Mind. While this marks the end of an extraordinary chapter, we’re delighted that Mark will continue to lend his expertise as a member of our Clinical Governance Committee.

At a recent gathering, our Chair; Frank Longbottom presented Mark with a special award in recognition of his outstanding contribution.

Mark took the time thank his fellow trustees for their dedication and belief in our charity and thanked all the staff at Birmingham Mind, for doing an incredible job, with passion whilst making a real difference in the lives of those we support.

And finally, to Andrew Nicholls, who sadly passed away last year and Mark acknowledged his impact on our charity and still to this day how his absence is deeply felt by us all.

Thank you for 30 Years of service Mark!
