When:    Flexible on days. Minimum of 4 hours per week.  Flexible to childcare and study needs of the volunteer.

Roles: This role will be offered to 1 person, or 2 people role sharing, subject to applicants availability.

Role Descritpion

Role Details

Working alongside the Communication & Marketing Lead, you will be supporting and promoting our services, fundraising events, volunteer and job opportunities across our social media platforms alongside assisting in managing multi-media marketing campaigns.

Tasks

You will be involved in the following opportunities;

  • Creating online digital assets in line with Mind branding.
  • Researching and creating content for different social media channels
  • Planning online content for mental health awareness days and event
  • Identifying opportunities to establish relationships with local online community groups
  • Liaising with the marketing, recruitment, training and fundraising team to plan scheduled promotions and campaign
  • As part of this role you will be invited to volunteer at events and meetings

Skills Required

Candidates will have:

  • Knowledge of social media platforms.
  • Creative approach to content design.
  • Experience or knowledge of digital marketing tools (desirable)
  • Flexible and organised working approach
  • Lived experience of mental health (desirable)

Support

Your line manager will be the Communication and Marketing Lead

They will offer you regular ongoing support and progress chats.

As part of this role you will be invited to volunteer at events and meetings.

Expenses

Travel (bus, train, tram) fares reimbursed

Car mileage reimbursed

Lunch/ Meal expenses reimbursed if you volunteer over 4 hours (up to £4 max)
