Our staff and volunteers are key to the success of Birmingham Mind. We strive to recruit people into our teams who are capable of making a significant contribution to the organisation and who can help us achieve our organisational aims and objectives.
Birmingham Mind is recognised as a Mindful Employer and we are also very proud of our Gold Investors in People status. In November 2022, we were awarded the new, national Mind Quality Mark, recognising that we meet Minds expectations of good practice, and in many areas excel beyond those expectations.
We accept that people who have experienced mental health difficulties have often been disadvantaged and have not always had equal opportunities in employment. Our aim is to encourage people who have lived experience of mental health problems to apply for jobs at Birmingham Mind. You can read a copy of our Equality Statement here.
We currently employ over 200 staff who are supported by the work of our every growing team of volunteers. It is the dedication of our staff and their commitment to the people who use our services that has helped us to achieve the highly regarded reputation we hold today.
We are looking for people who have a passion for the work we do and if you feel that you meet the values of the organisation and the requirements of the roles that we are currently recruiting for, we would love to hear from you.
