Looking to spend some time outdoors this autumn?

We are looking for a small team of volunteers to overhaul a garden at our Supported Accommodation in Small Heath. We need help getting our garden ready for the winter months as well as the vision to build a memorial for a very special person.

Location: Golden Hillock Road, Small Heath, Birmingham B10 0LJ

When:    October – December 2023

Roles: This role is suitable for 2-4 people.

Volunteering Oppurtunity

Volunteer Project

Our supported housing property is home to 15 people in the heart of Small Heath.

We have a lovely garden space but we’d like to build a small memorial in memory of a special tenant who has passed away.

We have a large garden and we would love to build some raised beds for our vulnerable adults to tend over the seasons.

Time

Monday – Friday

Start: 10am

Finish: 4pm

Materials

We’d love support in sourcing some

  • Garden equipment
  • Spades
  • Rake
  • Hoe
  • Overalls
  • Wood (for the raised beds)
  • Builders Tools
  • Design ideas for the memorial
